This Around The World Epic Family Adventure Series is designed to help families dive deep into a new country each week. As you participate in class activities, and continue to learn about the country throughout the week, your cultural experience will be deepened, all while creating unforgettable family memories. This Around The World Epic Family Adventure includes three parts. Feel free to take one, two, or all three courses, in any order: 🌎 Part One: Mexico, Brazil, Egypt, Kenya, Germany, The Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, China, Japan, Australia 🌎 Part Two : Panama, Venezuela, Argentina, Antarctica, South Africa, Nigeria, Israel, Greece, Italy, France 🌎 Part Three: Russia, India, Canada, United States, Thailand, New Zealand, Ireland, England, Ghana, South Korea This is the Part One course. One 55-minute class will be held once a week. --- This is a family class. Cost information is as follows:: 1) One person in the family must purchase this class. 2) Additional participating family members (ages 6-16) must each purchase the add-on class for the discounted price of $10 per class: https://wonderwelllearning.com/ce/courses/addon-class-for-around-the-world-epic-family-adventure-course 3) Parents may participate in the class for free. --- Each class will include: - Weekly Showcase of family activities - Fascinating Facts Presentation - Mind map or drawing - Hands-On Class Project or Activity - Show and Tell FASCINATING FACTS A visual presentation will be presented in weekly classes to introduce students to the culture of each country. Students will create a mind map or drawing of what they learn. CLASS PROJECT Each class will include an age-appropriate project or activity. WEEKLY FAMILY ACTIVITIES AND CLASS SHOWCASE To get the most out of this course, doing additional country-related activities throughout the week is essential. This might include a doing science experiment, making a recipe, creating an art project, learning vocabulary words in a new language, performing a dance or song, writing a poem or story, reading cultural books, taking a family field trip, etc. Additional family activity ideas will be provided in class. The weekly class structure is basic; it is the family activities completed during the week and showcased at the beginning of each class that really bring this class to life. These weekly family activities have the power to strengthen family relationships, expand one's knowledge of the topic in creative ways, and inspire fellow students and families. The projects and activities can be simple; even doing one extra activity a week adds impact to this class. ★ One of the beautiful things about this course is the opportunity to associate with other like-minded families, learn from and inspire one another, and make new friends. NOTE: This is not an all-inclusive geography course. We will cover some basics of each country in class. As families immerse themselves in weekly activities, it is my hope that it will ignite in each child a love for learning, and a love for geography and culture. 🇺🇸 This course will be what each family makes of it. Herbal Adventures: An Introduction To Culinary, Medicinal, and Cosmetic HerbsMy middle daughter is so interested in herbs and cooking, and I feel that it is hard to find classes on those types of topics for her age group. This was a deep class that went into all the benefits of herbs, not just for cooking, but how they help our healthy! My daughter loves talking about how beneficial Rosemary is! She will add herbs into our food and say, "I am going to add this, because it helps with this!"Also, she is very patient with wiggly easily distracted learners, and redirects them kindly so they don't miss anything!

"Bee" of Good CharacterThis class was AWESOME! My kids still talk about bees to this day and how important they are because of this class. It helped them to understand how important they are. They loved the art activity, and also learned so much from the character trait lesson that she did. I love that in so many of her classes, it isn't just about the subject matter, she ties in important aspects like character and kindness.

Little Women Classic Literature Book ClubI thought my 10yo girls might be a little young for Little Women, but I'm so glad I was wrong. Not only did they love the book (the unabridged version!), but they looked forward to their group discussions with Ms. Carri every week. They loved bringing the book to life through the simple projects in class and are not so patiently waiting to watch the movie now so we can compare how accurate it kept to the book.
