Course Description

Your child who feels things intensely — who gets frustrated fast, shuts down when overwhelmed, or genuinely struggles to understand why people do what they do — just found a class where those exact challenges become the investigation. Some kids are old enough to feel the full weight of complicated emotions but not yet equipped with the tools to navigate them well. Each drop-in session puts students in the role of detective — working through real-life scenarios, Bible stories, and everyday situations to figure out what's happening inside the heart and how God calls us to respond. They draw, journal, discuss, and collaborate their way through moments that feel genuinely familiar: the friend who said something hurtful, the reaction they regret, the situation where doing the right thing was harder than expected. Faith is the lens everything is seen through — not a separate lesson bolted on at the end. Students explore emotions the way Scripture talks about them, learn from biblical examples of real people navigating hard feelings, and build the kind of self-awareness and biblical reasoning that travels with them into friendships, family moments, and whatever comes next. For families raising children in the faith, this class is a natural extension of what's already happening at home. Every session makes room for every kind of learner — drawing, talking, writing, storytelling — because this class was built for all kinds of minds from the start, including neurodivergent learners. Sessions are self-contained and drop-in, so your child can join whenever works for your family and never feel behind. WonderWell families join us from all over the world — if the current times don't work for your time zone, send us a note.
