Each week follows the corresponding lesson from the curriculum, giving learners an opportunity to discuss what they've learned, ask questions, make connections, and reinforce key science concepts through creative, hands-on activities. Every class includes: 🦖 Interactive discussion based on the weekly Bones & Stones lesson 🌎 Age-appropriate exploration of earth science, geology, paleontology, and geography concepts 🎨 Show It Challenge: Learners will build or draw something inspired by the week's lesson using materials they already have at home, such as building bricks, magnetic tiles, cardboard, craft supplies, clay, or paper. 💬 Opportunities to share ideas, ask questions, and showcase their creations with classmates This class is designed specifically as a companion to The Good and the Beautiful's Bones & Stones curriculum. Learners will need a copy of the book, as we will reference the weekly lesson during class. Families are encouraged to complete the assigned lesson before class so learners are ready to participate in discussions and the weekly Show It Challenge.
