In this class, students will further advance their skills in American Sign Language communication by adding to their vocabulary list of signs and learning. Our first class will include a review to help us recall what we learned in the last level of this four-part series. During class sessions 2-6, we will study a new topic and engage in games and activities to help us remember the content. For our last class, we will have a large interactive review to conclude our seven weeks together and put our signs into practice. Explanation behind the class's values: - Communication - American Sign Language is all about communicating thoughts, concepts, and ideas with the hands, and body cues. - Knowledge - Students will expland their vocabulary, thus adding to their knowledge of ASL communication. - Curiosity - The best way to learn is through having a curious mind and asking questions. Students are encouraged to ask questions throughout our time together to become more profient in the language.
