How would your student benefit from joining our Teen Mentorship Program? A weekly check-in with a non-parent mentor gives your teen accountability, encouragement, and guidance from a fresh perspective. Mentors help teens stay on track, build independence, reduce parent–student stress, and develop real-world skills for college, career, and life. How to start the process: Step 1: Schedule a planning meeting: In this one-on-one online meeting, parents, students, and the mentor will work together to create a personalized homeschool success plan. We will discuss the student’s goals, strengths, challenges, and schedule, while establishing clear expectations for accountability and mentorship. This planning session will also set the weekly mentorship meeting schedule for the semester or year, during which the mentor will check in with the student to ensure assignments are completed on time, answer basic questions, and provide guidance as needed. By the end, families will have a clear plan for ongoing mentorship to help teens take ownership of their learning, stay on track, and develop independence. Step 2: Finalize Mentorship Program Plans After this one-time meeting, once the mentor, parent, and teen have agreed on a check-in schedule, the mentorship program begins. The mentor and student will meet at the scheduled times to review school progress, ensure assignments are completed on time, and work on general planning and goal-setting. Less than 24 hours notice: No refund will be issued. The full session fee remains due. Mentor Cancellations If the mentor needs to cancel a scheduled session for any reason, a full refund will be provided to the mentee. Notice Period Calculation The 24-hour notice period is calculated from the scheduled start time of the mentorship session. For example, a session scheduled for Tuesday at 3:00 PM would require cancellation by Monday at 3:00 PM to qualify for a refund.
