In this fun and interactive project-based class, students become campground designers as they plan and promote their dream outdoor retreat! On Day 1, students receive 50 Camp Coins to budget for cabins, trails, and activities. They’ll practice real-world math through addition and subtraction while deciding what to include in their camp. Then, they’ll begin creating a persuasive brochure featuring a camp name, slogan, and exciting descriptions to convince visitors to come stay. On Day 2, students complete and decorate their brochures, adding illustrations, creative slogans, and finishing touches.
