Math Gaps? Let's find them before pre-algebra does. This is unit 2 in a year and a half long series designed to lay a solid math foundation so students are ready for middle school math. In this course, the student will work with models and eventually shift to paper and pencil only, to learn long multiplication of whole numbers, up to 3-digit x 2-digit problems. #2 in Mrs. Becker's Intermediate Math Series (Followed by "Long Division") Mrs. Becker's Intermediate Math Series is designed for math students in approximately 5th through 6th grade. Each class consists of a lesson including visuals and problems to work through together and independently. As a bonus, enrollment includes access to all Unit 1: Place Value classes.
