Course Description

Each class day, we will learn to sign the fruits of the spirit in American Sign Language and learn one of two songs to help us remember these signs. These songs include "The Fruit of the Spirit is not a Coconut" and "The Fruit of the Spirit" by Wonderkids. We will also play several games and trivia activities in which students must choose the correct fruit of the Spirit mentioned in a particular Bible verse or passage. Students are encouraged to have their Bibles handy so that they can quickly search for a particular passage during the game. They may also find it useful to study Bible passages that mention the fruits of the Spirit before each meeting which will inspire students to pursue a personal understanding of the meaning of these virtues, as well as add a fun level of competition to our trivia games.
