Course Description

Grab your mittens and join us for a fun-filled Arctic adventure! In this 6-week family-style class, students will explore six amazing Arctic mammals—polar bears, narwhals, seals, Arctic foxes, wolves, and hares. Each week, children will: 🎨 Draw It! – Follow a guided, step-by-step drawing of the featured animal. 📖 Write It! – Add fun facts to their personal Arctic Animal Mini Fact Book. ⚙️ Build It! – Complete a simple STEM project using household materials—easy enough to do right in class! This course is designed for families learning together, encouraging teamwork, creativity, and discovery. Siblings can share materials, brainstorm ideas, and build side by side while exploring the wonders of God’s creation. From floating rafts and camouflage foxes to hopping hares, every activity brings science and Scripture together in a joyful learning experience that celebrates God’s power and design in the icy world of the Arctic! Learning Goals By the end of each 6-week session, students will: - Learn fun, memorable facts about Arctic animals and their habitats - Develop drawing and observation skills through guided art lessons - Practice writing and research in their mini fact books - Strengthen problem-solving and fine motor skills through weekly builds - Grow in appreciation for God’s creativity and care for His creation Session Breakdown: You may join one or both sessions — each can stand alone or build on the other! Part 1 – Snowy Owl, Penguin, Puffin, Walrus, Orca, Reindeer Part 2 – Polar Bear, Narwhal, Seal, Arctic Fox, Arctic Wolf, Arctic Hare 💡 If you’re enrolling two or more siblings, message me for a sibling discount! Enrollment Note: This class is highly interactive. Each participating child should be enrolled so I can provide personalized feedback, encouragement, and opportunities to share their drawings and creations during class.
