In this 4-day camp, fiction-loving teens will bring their original stories to life through character creation, worldbuilding, and creative prompts. Each class begins with a fun, themed warm-up and guided discussion to spark ideas. Then, students will dive into sharing their own creations—such as original characters, maps, plot ideas, or world systems—with encouragement and positive feedback from both peers and the teacher. We’ll cover how to build a believable fiction/fantasy world, create compelling heroes and villains, design quests and conflicts, and weave in lore and historical elements. Day 4 ends with a celebration of student work—students are invited (but not required) to showcase their favorite ideas, stories, or artwork with the group. Whether your learner is a writer, artist, or daydreamer, this camp provides a safe, exciting space to explore their imagination, grow their storytelling skills, and connect with others who share their love of fiction and/or fantasy.
