Course Description

Does your child love bugs and drawing? In this junior version of Bug Explorers, younger learners (ages 5–7) will meet some of the most familiar creepy crawlies while learning fun, age-appropriate science facts. Each week we’ll spotlight a new bug, share simple truths about teamwork, protection, growth, or transformation, and then complete a directed drawing to bring it to life. In Part 1, students will meet: Ants – tiny team workers that live in colonies Beetles – hard-shelled insects with built-in armor Caterpillars – hungry crawlers that grow and change Butterflies & Dragonflies – flying insects with amazing beauty and skill This class is designed as the younger sibling version of Bug Explorers (ages 8–11), so families can study the same bugs at the same time, each child at the level that’s just right for them.
