Guy Fawkes Day: Unravel the Mystery Behind Britain's Most Unusual History HolidayMy three kids enjoyed this class. They had fun learning about this unique holiday.

Hello! It’s a joy to be part of WonderWell! As a homeschool mom with 13 years of experience, I have absolutely love teaching. I'm a mother of five, with teens, preteens, and our little 6 year old at home. I have my Bachelor's degree in history and English from the University of California at Davis. For over twenty years, teaching and tutoring have been central passions—beginning as a tutor in the college learning center and continuing through one-on-one sessions and small group classes both in person and online.
Daily life includes homeschooling, supporting students through personalized tutoring, and leading engaging classes for small groups. Lessons often blend academic content with creativity and exploration, helping students connect learning to the world around them.
In my spare time, I knit, sew, and quilt, and spend time in the great outdoors. The natural world offers constant inspiration—something students are encouraged to explore and draw from in their own learning.
Group classes are especially focused on middle and high school students, with an emphasis on the classics of English and American literature, and a deep appreciation for the unfolding story of God’s sovereignty throughout history.
Looking forward to partnering with your family in learning and growth!

This was a great class and the teacher is very professional and knowledgeable!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My daughter looked forward to this class every week! I appreciated the depth of study and the weekly assignments that got my daughter excited about exploring different types of poetry. The teacher was very knowledgeable and always encouraging and responsive. Highly recommend!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent class! My reluctant reading learner came back to me telling me all about poetry! Thanks! A+!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My daughter enjoyed this class. She could not stop talking about what she learned. She would like to take more classes with this teacher in the future. The teacher was wonderful.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ She is always prepared and customizes her lesson plans to match the student. She teaches very thoroughly and explains the concept well. I really appreciate it.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Elizabeth took over teaching American Literature for my homeschooled 11th grader when I realized I didn't have the ability to effectively learn and teach the material. She took time to get to know my neurodiverse learner and was flexible in her teaching approach. She was able to help my child explore and demonstrate in depth understanding of the material. Elizabeth provided updates after each session. She noted areas of struggle and worked to help my learner improve confidence as well. She frequently offered positive feedback regarding my child's ability to show excellent thoughts and insight during discussion. I plan to have my learner work with Elizabeth again in the next school year.

Art History Adventures: Discover Famous ArtistsThis is a subject matter I am not great at, and so it doesn't end up making it into my lessons, and it is so important! I love that I can have my daughters go to this class, so I know they are getting cultured, but I dont have to do it, honestly 🤣 They love art and it is awesome to hear about the stories behind people who made so many of the famous artwork we know today!

The Poetry Journey: Exploring Poets & Their CraftI honestly am not a huge poetry person, so I haven't really made it a priority, but this class changed my mind. Mrs. Elizabeth is very knowledgeable, and presents her class and interacts with students about the poet in such an engaging way. We tried this class kind of late in the year, and I so wish we had started earlier! This was such a good fit for my oldest daughter. She has made connections while watching/hearing about the author is other contexts because of Mrs. Elizabeth! I was very impressed and look forward to taking more classes this year.

Art History Adventures: Discover Famous ArtistsThis class was one of the highlights of our year! As mom, I learned so much just from what my girls would tell me about after class. It was such a great foundation for art history and they've developed a really great eye for placing a piece of art with its artist in the wild.
