From towering monuments to historic buildings, America’s landmarks tell the story of our nation’s history and values. In this hands-on 25-minute class series, young learners will discover the history and meaning of four famous landmarks. Each week, students will: Learn about the landmark through an engaging story and discussion. Complete a simple fact sheet (teacher-guided). Color a landmark picture to add to their booklet. At the end of the 4 weeks, each child will have a completed Monuments & Landmarks Booklet filled with drawings, facts, and reflections on the places that symbolize America’s heritage.
