Course Description

Does your child love learning about bugs and drawing? In this 4-week continuation of our Bug Explorers series, students will dive even deeper into the world of insects and arachnids! Each week we’ll study a new “Bug of the Day,” learn fascinating science facts, and follow a step-by-step directed drawing to bring the creature to life on paper. Students will then add facts and labels to their Bug Explorer Journal, combining art, science, and literacy in one fun adventure. In Part 2, we’ll study: Flies – Buzzing decomposers with amazing vision Grasshoppers – Jumpers and chirpers of the field Ladybugs – Garden protectors that keep plants safe Scorpions – Nighttime hunters and powerful arachnids By the end of this course, your child will have a completed Bug Explorer Journal filled with drawings, diagrams, and bug facts from all 9 creatures in the series. ✨ Didn’t take Part 1? No problem—each part can stand alone, but together they form the full Bug Explorers adventure!
