Meet The Teacher

Hello, my name is Gabrielle, and I have been teaching for over 15 years. I first started teaching sewing lessons as a homeschool High School senior. This is where I discovered I had a passion for teaching. I have taught in many different capacities, but for the past 5 and a half years, I have been focusing on running online classes designed specifically for neurodivergent students. I love all of the classes I offer, but my favorites to run are my social groups. These groups are unique in that they do not focus on teaching neurotypical social skills but rather on helping each student to build confidence in their own unique social skills. I started these classes because this is something I wish I had had access to when I was growing up. I was diagnosed autistic at age 21, and for me, the diagnosis was an answer to prayer because it explained everything I had always struggled with, as well as allowing me to seek out others like me. Being autistic is also a big part of my personal testimony, and I feel God made me this way for a reason.

I am also a wife and mother, and I volunteer at my church, working in the kids' church program. My 2 kids are my miracle babies and gifts from God. They were both preemies, and I had really hard pregnancies with them both, but God brought us through and blessed me with them. My oldest is 5 and is homeschooled. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and listening to audiobooks.
