Hello! 👋 I am BriAnn Ongesel. I have taught online art classes for over 4 years for ages 5-17. I have my bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Brigham Young University Idaho. I also studied UX/UI design from California Institute of the Arts. I am currently a freelance designer, online teacher, and homeschool mother of four.
I believe that the best learning comes from doing. Students learn from practicing the principles taught and from sharing what they learn with their peers. It is important to have fun in my classes, as well as talking with other students about class concepts and similar interests. Learning is about chasing what excites you and diving into all you can with it.
My hobbies include reading, drawing, baking, and hiking. I love trying new foods and making some of my own: homemade pizza, 'nicecream', warm butternut squash salad, and cheesecake. 🎨✏️🌴🍦📖

Squishmallow Drawing ClubMy girl loves this class so much even though she is on the older side for it. She also takes Ms Bri's Realistic Drawing class. The beauty of this class is that the basic shape is the same each time making it easier to focus on creating a unique personality for each drawing. She comes running to me after every class to show me the latest character to add to her collection.
