Hello! I'm David, as a prior homeschool parent, I understand the desire to provide children with meaningful learning experiences that inspire growth and creativity. I want students to experience piano as more than an activity or elective, but as a skill they can carry with them for a lifetime.
I believe piano education is about more than learning notes and playing songs. It is about helping students build strong foundations, grow as confident musicians, and discover how to use their musical gifts with purpose.
With a bachelor's degree in music and a background as a retired U.S. Army service member, my own musical journey began during my time in the military, where I first discovered my love for the piano. Over the years, I have continued developing my skills as a musician, teacher, and worship keyboard player.
My vision is to provide students with a structured pathway that combines the excellence of classical piano with the creativity and freedom of worship piano. Students develop strong reading skills, musical understanding, confidence, and the ability to express themselves through music.
Having served as a keyboard player on my church's worship team, I understand the joy of using music as an expression of faith. My goal is to create an encouraging learning environment where students are mentored, challenged, and supported as they grow—not only as musicians, but as individuals
